We loved our stay at Creekside Haven! The cozy cabin had plenty of space for our family to spread out and to hang together. The push button fireplace is wonderful! The sound of the rushing creek was lovely. We greatly enjoyed the heated pool on rainy days and “apres ski”. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Being so close to Cataloochee was very convenient! There’s lots of cute little shops and places to eat. We had great meals at Joeys Pancake House, J Arthur’s, Catrina’s Cantina, and Beach Mountain Diner. Overall, our Maggie Valley trip was awesome, we will be back, and we would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone planning to visit!

Well, my husband and I have stayed there on and off for the last six months for local work, so we know the place well. Sadly, our project has come to an end, so our most recent stay will be our last for work. BUT, we love everything about Todd and Barbie and the house, and we will be back for fun hiking weekends. Hiking, waterfalls, everything nearby. It's the best place we've stayed in the area. Private, squeaky clean, big deck, large dining room table for big meals or spreading out the paperwork, GREAT internet connection and TV options. We'll definitely be back on our own - we feel so comfortable there in every way. I could not recommend any higher - would give it a "10" if I could. Todd and Barbie also bent over backwards to help us with a couple of last-minute schedule changes. Such honest and thoughtful hosts. Thanks Todd and Barbie for EVERYTHING over the last few months. We love you guys!

Gorgeous mountain retreat is a perfect way to describe this property. I found everything in the description of this property to be true. In my opinion Karla’s description was very humble and we found the property to be much better than expected. Entire family celebrated my father’s 90th birthday, and found the house plenty spacious for all of us. With full living space on the main level and downstairs we never felt crowded.The house was immaculate and very well stocked with items that were above and beyond any other property I’ve ever stayed in right down to the firewood. Directions were easy to follow and communication was always done in a timely fashion. If you want to relax, do nothing, enjoy the views this is the place for you. If you want to be active, go hiking, play golf, tennis, etc. this is the place for you. If you want to grill out and watch football with the gang, this place is for you. So if you have a large group, and you are looking for a mountain getaway, I recommend that you stop looking and book this property NOW!!

Beautiful view and plenty of room for our family. Kerry responded quickly to my questions and gave clear directions. I’m glad she recommended to stay on paved roads since we arrived at night and alternate routes take you down gravel roads. Convenient location for our stay to enjoy snow tubing and amenities at the Sapphire Valley Community Center.

We had an amazing stay in this comfortable and well-equipped home, it truly felt like home! The peaceful area made our stay even more relaxing, and our kids had a wonderful time. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, making it perfect for families. We also loved the well-stocked kitchen and the little details that made our stay extra special. Stayed at tall ships numerous times, best unit so far. Enjoy all the amenity’s. Golf,tennis,gym, walking trails. Will rent from Michael next trip. Chuck B.

Lynnette’s beautiful place was delightful! The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and everything was spotless. We felt so at home with the Christmas decorations and especially the welcoming pie. We hope to come back soon. Great location- close to everything!

Keith was very responsive and helpful from the moment I booked the BNB for the weekend. Very simple process and the details and instructions were very clear and easy to understand. Sharon’s Cosmic getaway is a fantastic choice if visiting western North Carolina. The place spotless, beautifully furnished and a terrific view. It’s close to Asheville, the Smokey Mountains the Blue Ridge Parkway and lots more. The host is very responsive and great communication from check in to check out. Would highly recommend.

I think this was our 5th or 6th stay, I’ve lost count. We love this place and will come again!

We visited Phillip’s lake house for a long weekend to celebrate our daughter’s upcoming 17th birthday, along with a few of her friends and our family. Within 20 minutes of being there, our daughter asked us if we could rent again this summer! The house is beautifully appointed (the girls loved the leopard stair runners!), and the home was absolutely pristine. The owners have left no stone unturned when it comes to detail, instruction and comfort, and there was plenty to entertain our crew inside and out! The surroundings are somewhat ethereal, not to mention peaceful, even with 6 teen girls, a ten year old boy, and our pup! We all loved that he got to join us, and being the water dog he is, he was in heaven! Our favorites were exploring the lake in the canoe and other water toys, so generously provided, and star gazing on the dock! We can’t wait to visit again! This home may have become our new Highlands tradition!

This was our 2nd stay at Carmela's place. Again, it was spectacular. It was warm enough for the outdoor firepit. Unfortunately, there was a burn ban in place, so we were not able to use it. The place itself is very homey and comfortable. Love that it's pet friendly and a private location. We would definitely stay again!

This house is in a great location and is very nice. It’s new and clean. You can walk everywhere . Will rent again.

This place was beautiful both inside and out. We had an amazing view of Fontana Lake and a path to the hiking trails was right in the side yard. The house was roomy and was more than enough room for all 8 of us and incredibly peaceful! There was a minor hiccup with the main shower on our 2nd day, but the host was extremely responsive and kept us updated until and after the issue was resolved. We were very impressed with their responsiveness. A few things to note: -There is a large dresser with plenty of room but no closet in main level bedroom so prepare for ironing. -No washer/dryer available to use. Make sure to prepare enough clothes for longer stays. Despite the couple minor adjustments and hiccup that we experienced during our stay we will absolutely come stay again. The place was beautiful, and there was so much do without ever having to leave! This is a must-stay!

This is an excellent Airbnb. Has everything you might need and a little more. Good location, clean, good communication. No complaints. This is what Airbnb should be.

Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. We thoroughly enjoyed the large fireplace. So warm and cozy! We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb with our family of 10, ranging from a baby to grandparents. The house was meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The layout was perfect, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out while still having great common areas for gathering. Every room was beautifully designed, so no one felt like they got the “lesser” room. The views were absolutely incredible, and we loved the added amenities—board games, foosball, a jacuzzi, and a grill. The host was fantastic—super responsive, helpful with local recommendations, and proactive in keeping us informed about a nearby fire. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this home for any group looking for a relaxing and well-equipped retreat!

Great place to travel between cities and visit Smoky Mountains. Nice, quiet area and the trails on the property were great. Rita's place had everything you need for a home away from home. This is one of thee absolutely most beautiful places I’ve ever had the pleasure of resting my head. The listing photos do not do this beautiful home and view justice. We all gasped the moment we walked through the door. My children LOVED the gaming room. This was the best Christmas getaway and we really enjoyed the few things open in Clayton and the scenic hiking trails and waterfalls. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and we look forward to staying here in the future. Alan was extremely responsive and kind enough to allow for an early check in and extremely responsive. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us!

What an incredible cottage. We booked last minute and were SO pleased. We hike, hike and more hiking so having a clean and comfortable place is always number 1. The home was peaceful and quiet and bright (big windows to see the beauty outside). The home was clean and had everything anyone could need. There were amazing instructions - never had to wonder. You could tell so much love and attention went into the home. We treated it just like our own and hope to be back. Great location not far from Hayesville or Franklin. The area is an outdoors paradise. Every cooking thing you could think of. Made cooking dinner so easy. The beds were comfortable and the master even had a fan - which I love. My husband left his phone charger at home. Joan even had one for his phone. Books to read and games and beautiful bird feeders to watch. Such a beautiful place. I so appreciated the no cleaning fee. We gave traveled all over and this one is one of the BEST! Thanks, Joan!

Looking for a private mountain top escape? This fits the bill! Beautiful views are a given. The house is comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. My kids were disappointed it wasn’t a full size pool table but still played several games. I’d caution anyone without 4 wheel drive not to try the driveway during the winter months or even very rainy times. We had a great time hiking nearby trails, hanging out at the house, and enjoying the peace of the mountain. There were a couple maintenance issues but we asked they be solved after we left. Our host was always quick to answer any questions and was helpful. We enjoyed our stay!

Cannot say enough positive things about this AirBnB. Decor inside and out was so well done. Kitchen was well appointed and stocked. We spent a lot of time at the high top table. Comfortable living room, perfect for playing the provided games. All three bedrooms were peaceful and inviting. Bathrooms left us wanting to upgrade ours at home. 3 Outside areas had plenty of seating - around a fire pit, on the deck and on the screened in porch (or favorite). Moss carpet in the lower back yard was so neat! Close to town with restaurants and shops and just minutes away from exploring the outdoors in the area parks. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone.
