This romantic home at 801 Frenchmen just underwent a two-year, careful historic preservation of its exterior Eastlake architectural style and modern renovation maintaining its charming Victorian interior. Suite 2 is one of two luxe suites sharing the second floor at 801 Frenchmen. With deep respect to the past, and featuring all the modern amenities of the present, 801 Frenchmen has returned to its original grandeur.
Staying in an authentic, historic 1860's New Orleans home set in a scenic and desirable area like the Faubourg Marigny is ideal. Add to that an A+ location within a short 4 block scenic walk to the French Quarter and all of the city's fun and entertaining attractions -- it all adds up to the perfect alternative to staying in a hotel.

House Rules
801 Frenchmen Street at Dauphine is a SELF CHECK-IN HOME. This means upon your NOLA arrival, you may head directly to the property and let yourself in from 4p on using the private code you were assigned. Check-in time is 4pm. Please be aware that early check-in requests must be arranged ahead of time, NOT the day of your check-in, as our cleaning staff and home inspectors will need this time to clean and properly prepare the unit for your arrival.
The address is 801 Frenchmen Street at Dauphine in the historic Faubourg Marigny section of New Orleans. The Marigny is the neighborhood adjacent to the French Quarter and is a short scenic 5-10 minute walk to the FQ center — Jackson Square.
PARKING - This property has no private driveway and no parking spots reserved. All parking is street parking. Please be sure to carefully read the street parking signs.

NOISE LEVELS - Please be aware that although this home is just a few blocks from some of the best nightlife in NOLA, it is important to remember that the home is still in a residential area. We need you to be good neighbors during your stay. Please be courteous and mindful of noise levels inside the apartment and on the outdoor first floor and balcony areas. No loud music or groups of more than six are allowed in or outside of the units at any time. No noise is permitted on the gallery from 10p-9a including weekends.
Our apartments include:
• Bed and bath linens, including sheets on each bed, and a quantity of towels in the bedrooms that accommodate the per-person occupancy. Should you require extra linens or towels, you should plan to bring them, or you can launder what is provided during your stay.
• Linens are provided for every bed and mattress inside the bedrooms. None of our properties feature pull out sleeper sofas, nor do we provide extra linens for this.
• Items on hand for your use: Hair dryer, iron, ironing board
• Stocked items: Paper towels, trash bags, hand soap, shampoo, toilet paper, laundry detergent, and dish liquid and dishwasher tabs are for your use.
• Should these supplies not last your entire trip, you will want to purchase additional supplies from the local grocery store located two blocks up the street, Frenchmen Grocery & Deli Address: 602 Frenchmen St, New Orleans, LA 70116, Hours 10a-2am daily. Phone: (504) 655-3777 OR New Orleans Food Co-Op, 2372 St Claude Ave, New Orleans, LA 70117, Hours 8a-10p daily. Phone: (504) 264-5579 www.nolafood.coop or the new Robert’ grocery at 2222 St Claude Avenue.
• Kitchens are stocked with all necessary utensils and appliances for a basic meal, including: Pots, Pans, Flatware, Dishes, Coffeemaker, and Microwave. Should you need any specialty cooking appliances or items you will want to bring them.
• As the primary guest contact and group leader, the primary guest is responsible for all actions of my group including late and early check-in. Primary guest is responsible to inform all members of my group about the rules and regulations of the property
• Guests should keep the door codes secure, shutting and locking all doors at all times. No door leading to the exterior ground floor or balcony area is to be left open at any time.
• 801 Frenchmen Street at Dauphine is a SELF CHECK-IN HOME. This means guests may head directly to the property and let themselves and travel guests into the unit anytime after 4pm.
• Check-in time is 4pm unless I made other advance arrangements in writing. Please be aware that special requests must be arranged ahead of time. Do not assume you can arrive anytime. Before the time of your check-in, our cleaning staff and home inspectors will need this time to clean and properly prepare the unit for your arrival.
• Check-out time is no later than 10am unless other requests have been made in writing
Upon check-out, Guests must empty unit of Guest belongings with all towels returned to bathrooms, sheets in bedrooms and kitchen items including all glassware in the kitchen sink and/or dishwasher. All trash and recycles must be bagged and placed inside the large 801 Frenchmen street (exterior) trash cans.
Furnishings — Before booking, guest has reviewed pictures of the property and is satisfied with room decor, size, and location of the property. Guest agrees not to rearrange furniture, and promises to exercise care in the treatment of the accommodations and furnishings.
• If you need to store luggage upon arrival or before departure please contact the owner to make arrangements.
• No pets whatsoever. Owner’s child has severe allergy to both dogs and cats which severely affects his breathing. This is a very strict no pets on premises whatsoever policy.
• No smoking inside the property or on the premises. No exceptions.
Guests have full reign of this modern elegant home during their stay, and can relax and enjoy true New Orleans hospitality indoors and out. The large 2nd floor balcony serves as an outdoor living room where one can relax with a cocktail in the sun, people watch and just soak up the rhythms of one of New Orleans most scenic neighborhoods.
Inside the large 3 bdrm bright and airy suite is an all-new, professionally decorated interior that includes historic 1830s charm with all of today's modern comforts. The home's architectural elements, period lighting, millwork and sunny windows are all fully restored and ready to receive you.
The open living room and modern kitchen has all you need to feel at home in NOLA. The brand new kitchen features a refrigerator, stove, oven, hood, sink, dishwasher, microwave, and washer/dryer and large eat-in island area with stools. The living room is indoors and out, large flat screen cable/tv, comfy furniture adjacent to the kitchen, and a french door leading to a large expansive outdoor gallery with lots of seating overlooking historic Frenchmen Street.
Bespoke private bedrooms, 3 total (one king and two queens), are super comfy and feature ceiling fans, comfy new mattresses, blackout window treatments, and designer bedding. Quality sleep is our #1 priority.
The luxe main bathroom has marble floors, Kohler fixtures in French Gold and a large shower, sink, mirror, lavatory and signature towels.
Just off the back patio is the third private bedroom with a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom featuring a shower, sink and toilet.
Wifi is available throughout the suite.
This home is self-check in, and requires no keys. The Host will visit shortly after you check-in and upon check-out to confirm cleanliness and to ensure you are all set.
The Marigny is a hotspot where locals and visitors alike flock for gourmet bistros, quick bites, bohemian bars, and authentic jazz clubs — especially along Frenchmen Street. Sidewalk musicians and brass bands add a vibrant block party atmosphere.
Frenchmen Street is just a 3-block walk over to the French Quarter so walking is best. The apartment is stocked with NOLA travel guides, maps, books, and suggestions for good walking routes.
Bike rentals are available across the street in front of the park via "Blue Bikes," the New Orleans' bike share program. Or you may wish to rent a bike during your stay just around the corner at nearby Bicycle Michaels, Alex's Bikes, or A Bicycle Named Desire.
Uber and LYFT ride-shares are on hand, as well as various cab services including UNITED CAB.
PARKING
The 800 block of Frenchmen Street does not have a parking time restriction. However each block varies, you'll see 2 hour parking restrictions on most blocks in the area. On blocks with signage for Residential Permit Parking, parking is restricted to 2hours 7am-7pm.
Can easily find parking across Elysian Fields Avenue, 2 blocks away, where there are no parking time restrictions.

Public transportation via streetcar or bus lines is also nearby and easy to access.
Our safe, well-lit home is stocked with almost everything you will need to have a great time while on vacation or business in New Orleans. Bring your suitcase, any extra items that you may need, and get ready to have a great time. Our home includes:
