Drumcliffe church is a 15 minute drive from the guesthouse and is where the famous poet W.B. Yeats is buried.

The famous burial ground of the Irish poet, W.B. Yeats situated on a monastic settlement which includes a high cross and round tower. A local cafe and shop is also on site.

" Cast a Cold Eye On Life, On Death, Horseman, Pass By". For the literary interested, this is surely a must visit to Yeats grave take a break in the 'Tea House' beside it or pick up some local craft and memorbelia in the adjoining shop. Sip coffee and enjoy a 'reflective chat' on the poet and visit.
