Chris’s place turned out to better in person than in photos. Loved staying here for a night.

Wow I don't even know where to begin. Lou and Dion were so warm and welcomed us into their house (which is situated on the farm). The highlight of our stay was the farm tour. Highly recommended for BOTH kids and adults. It's a separate fee of 250nzd at our time of stay and it was well worth it. Dion took us up to his farm up on his 4WD and we went up the mountains where the views are unparalleled and we could get up close and personal with the cows, sheeps, and his sheepdog as well. He shared personal experiences as well as interesting facts about the farm. This beats and commercial stay or visit to a farm. Lou was also very welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. We met with a situation where our car was in a ditch and Lou was so kind to send her nephews Isaac and Hamish to help tow us out of the situation. My family is extremely grateful for their help and hospitality. If you're visiting lake tekapo or any of the surroundings, just stay here already!

Our stay at Fiery Peak eco retreat was just what we needed. We were on a 21 day tour of South Island from the UK. Booked 1 night, primarily to break the driving between Arthur’s Pass and Mount Cook area. Ended up changing itinerary to stay 2 nights… but would have stayed forever!! Beautiful house with every amenity you could want and more. Ambient music, mood lighting and aromatic oil diffusers made for a lovely welcome. The hot tub was such a treat and would be even more amazing under a starry dark sky, but was still fabulous despite the cloud. My absolute favourite thing though was the fresh stream plunge pool… an invigorating yet peaceful, natural space. Everything was considered and provided, such as slippers, bathroom robes, outdoor crocs and towels for the hot tub and plunge pool. The patio sofa with views across the garden and towards the hills made for a relaxing reading spot. Kay checked we had everything we needed and was a very friendly and helpful host. Best stay!

We loved our stay here. The place was exactly as described and had a great view. A lot of thought and care has gone into the place and we felt right at home.

Ceridwen’s place is peaceful and feels like home. We loved the rural surroundings and being able to watch shooting stars from bed! We enjoyed day trips to Mt Cook and Lake Tekapo. Fairlie is a beautiful and quaint little town - lots of nearby cafes and bakeries. Thank you - we’ll be back!

I have stayed in a LOT of Air B and Bs and this is one of the best. Communication was excellent and access was easy. The whole house was very clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable and the touches for welcoming were excellent. A personalised note welcoming us, a packet of choccy biscuits, milk in the fridge and a variety of teas and snacks. Thank you and I look forward to staying again.

Das Cottage liegt in einem wunderschönen Garten. die Einrichtung entspricht der Beschreibung und den Fotos, alles ist sehr sauber. Chris und Murray sind sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Vielen Dank für den schönen gemeinsamen Abend.

We made a huge mistake when only booking this place for part of our stay. My thought was to jump around the South Island with my family at a couple stops. Had I known it was this awesome, then I would’ve booked our whole time at Anna’s. This place is exactly what my family loves. The kids will definitely be complaining about where we stay next. This property is AWESOME.

Just a short scenic drive from Fairlie. Beautiful setting with a expansive view of the rolling hills. House is large and well furnished with a designers touch. Place was very clean and very private. Had a wonderful stay. Thank you.
